USA 1968 Rare assemblage console table/desk in redwood by direct wood sculptor J B Blunk. The console consists of multiple pieces of carved redwood with a solid plank top with a textured finish and notched and carved edges. J B Blunk is well known for his monumental direct, chainsaw carved sculptures. This console came directly from his studio in Inverness California, in West Marin. The table was used as a work table.
