USA 1959 Rare and unusual stoneware sculpture consisting of glazed fused forms. Titled "Legend", shown in "Arts of Southern California-VI" an exhibition at the Long Beach Museum of Art, in December 1959. Cressey is well known for his work for Architectural Pottery,but his studio work is rarely seen.This particular piece pre-dates his work for Architectural pottery.
